How it works

You choose how often you hear from it
Every member picks a digest cadence or reply-by-email, and the community honors it. A post reaches the people who opted in, not the people an algorithm chose.
An AI assistant helps the hosts, clearly labeled
An assistant reads each new public post within about a minute. It screens for case material and personal data, gives a short first response to questions, points to one of the Waldrep courses when one truly fits, and flags anything that needs a practitioner to the hosts. It is not Eric Waldrep, it does not give legal or forensic advice, and it never has the last word.
Real names, real roles
Members join under their professional identity. Vendors are welcome as people, not as advertisers.
Your data stays yours
Export or delete your account at any time. Posts you make in public categories are public and searchable; private rooms are not.
House rules
Four rules, all of them about protecting people
This is a room for digital forensics. Most of what members handle at work must never appear here.
- No case material, ever. No evidence, extractions, logs, chat excerpts, hashes, exhibit numbers, case or docket numbers, device identifiers, or facts of an identifiable matter. Ask the general question instead. Posts that cross this line are hidden and the author is told exactly what to remove.
- No personal data about real people. Not about suspects, victims, witnesses, clients, colleagues, or other members.
- General principles, not live matters. Nobody here analyzes your evidence or advises on your pending case. If you need that, retain an examiner or an independent expert.
- Be the colleague you would want on the stand next to you. Disagree with the method, not the person. No advertising, no link drops.
Hosts may edit, hide, or remove posts and accounts to keep to these rules. Anything hidden by the assistant is reviewed by a person.
