Refund Policy
7-day satisfaction guarantee on self-paced online courses. If within 7 calendar days of enrollment you decide a course is not for you, contact us and we will issue a full refund.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all paid products sold by The Waldrep Company, including self-paced online courses, live in-person and virtual cohorts, agency licensing, and downloadable resources. Different product categories carry different refund terms — see the relevant section below.
2. Self-Paced Online Courses
All self-paced online courses sold through thewaldrepcompany.com/courses are covered by a 7-day satisfaction guarantee.
- You may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase date, for any reason.
- To request a refund, email info@thewaldrepcompany.com from the address used at checkout, or call (251) 216-1164.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Card processor settlement times may add a few additional days.
- Once a refund is issued, your course access is revoked and any certificates of completion or partial-completion records associated with the enrollment are voided.
Courses currently covered by this guarantee include Computer Forensics Fundamentals, Mobile Device Forensics Fundamentals, Drone Forensics for Law Enforcement, and the Certified OSINT Investigator, Court-Ready Practitioner (COI-CRP) program.
3. After the 7-Day Window
Refund requests received more than 7 calendar days after the purchase date are not eligible for the satisfaction guarantee. We may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund, course credit, or transfer to another course if there are exceptional circumstances (documented medical emergency, military deployment, agency cancellation). Contact us to discuss your situation.
4. Live Cohorts and In-Person Training
Live cohorts (in-person and instructor-led virtual) have separate refund terms because seats are limited and venue, materials, and instructor fees are committed in advance.
- More than 30 days before the cohort start date: full refund, less a 5% processing fee, or transfer to a future cohort at no additional charge.
- 15 to 30 days before the cohort start date: 50% refund or transfer to a future cohort with no fee.
- Less than 15 days before the cohort start date: non-refundable. One free transfer to a future cohort within 12 months may be granted at our discretion if seats are available.
- No-shows: non-refundable.
5. Agency Licensing and Group Enrollments
Group enrollments (8 or more seats) and agency licensing agreements are governed by the executed master agreement, purchase order, or invoice between the agency and The Waldrep Company. The 7-day satisfaction guarantee in Section 2 may be modified, extended, or replaced in writing by that agreement. If the agreement is silent on refunds, Section 2 applies to each individual seat.
6. Government Purchase Orders
Refunds against a government purchase order are processed by reversing the invoice and issuing a credit memo against the original PO. We do not return cash on a PO transaction. Contact us within 7 days of seat assignment to initiate a credit reversal.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you are unhappy with a purchase, please contact us first. We will work with you in good faith. Filing a chargeback before contacting us removes our ability to issue a refund directly and may result in temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is resolved with the payment processor.
8. Downloadable Resources
Standalone downloadable resources (PDFs, templates, reference packs sold outside of a course enrollment) are non-refundable once downloaded. If you have not downloaded the resource, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.
9. Refund Method
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot issue refunds to a different card, account, or person. If the original payment method is no longer valid, contact us — we will work with you to find an alternate, traceable refund path.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. The terms in effect on the date of your purchase apply to that purchase. Updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
